About Us
Rooted in Scripture. Growing Disciples. Transforming Generations.
Intentional Discipleship Africa (IDA) exists to advance intentional discipleship across all generations. Established in Kenya in 2019, we have connections to over 700 churches and pastors in Kenya. We’re passionate about building a culture of discipleship that spans every stage of life—children, youth, young adults, parents, and leaders. We build faithful foundations in God’s Word, equipping key influencers with training and resources to intentionally disciple others.
Reason for Existence of Intentional Discipleship Africa (IDA)
Intentional Discipleship Africa (IDA) exists to transform African communities by advancing intentional, Christ-centered discipleship across all generations. We are committed to fostering a vibrant culture of disciple-making that deepens spiritual maturity and aligns with biblical truth, fulfilling the Great Commission (Matthew 28:19-20).
Purpose
Our purpose is to empower key influencers—pastors, parents, teachers, and community leaders—with sound biblical resources and comprehensive training to intentionally disciple others. By equipping these leaders, IDA fosters faithful foundations in God’s Word, enabling disciples to grow in faith, character, and leadership, and to replicate this process in their communities.
Problems Solved
IDA addresses the critical gap in effective discipleship caused by a lack of accessible, sound resources and training, which often leads to nominal Christianity, false teachings, and spiritual immaturity. By providing biblically grounded tools and mentorship, IDA equips influencers to combat shallow faith, build strong disciple-making communities, and create lasting spiritual impact across Africa.
